C.O.T.W.T.F.I.B.S.T.L.C.O.T - Morrigan

Updated: Mar 27, 2020

This installment of our “Character of the” (This time it's "Character Of The Whatever Time Frame It's Been Since The Last Character Of The") series is on Morrigan of the Dragon Age series! Morrigan is an all time favorite character of quite a few Dragon Age players. She’s witty, condescending, pragmatic, sexy, and just an all around interesting character. As a daughter of Flemeth she’s a fairly strong mage with a default focus in control.

Morrigan because of her pragmatic personality type Morrigan disapproves of helping every billy, willy, and nilly, in the world. Quests that offer personal gain will usually net you a few points with her while helping insignificant npcs with their problems offers a loss of approval. Her approval changes follow fairly well with Sten.

Morrigan is one of the companions with the most banter in the whole game. She’s got a plethora of dialogue between Alistair, Zevran, and Shale. Claudia Lee Black does an exceptional job with line delivery, her voice acting really takes Morrigan from being an annoying companion to the best; the best of all the Dragon Age games in my opinion.

Companions are the reason why the Dragon Age games did so well, and Morrigan is the prime example of a companion done right. There’s nobody we’d rather have an Elder God baby with.
